Toxicology Laboratory Service

The Toxicology Reference Laboratory (TRL) at PMH provides tertiary level clinical toxicology laboratory service. Poisoning incidents cannot be diagnosed without laboratory confirmation. An accurate diagnosis is a pre-requisite for effective clinical management and a necessity for meaningful surveillance. The TRL also has a special interest in herbal toxicology and provides related consultation service.
